Greater Kruger: Saddle Up for Conservation
Join conservation rides and daily horse care on a private wildlife reserve near Kruger National Park, sharing accommodation and meals with fellow participants. One-, two- and three-week stays are for riders confident at walk, trot and canter.
The Experience
Riding is part of the working week on this private wildlife reserve near Kruger National Park, where conservation rides help the team track and monitor animals. The stay suits people who enjoy daily involvement with horses, from feeding and grooming to preparing tack, as well as time in the bush.
The program runs Monday to Friday, with shared accommodation, kitchen and living spaces, groceries, Wi-Fi and laundry provided. Participants cook together, and weekends are free for rest or optional excursions to Kruger National Park, the Panorama Route or Hoedspruit, which are arranged and paid for separately.
Choose seven, fourteen or twenty-one nights, with longer stays available on request and a Hoedspruit Airport transfer included. You need to be confident at walk, trot and canter, and the maximum rider weight is 90 kg, so please describe your current riding experience when you inquire.

Flights and optional weekend excursions are additional. One week (7 nights / 8 days) is €975; two weeks (14 nights / 15 days) is €1,850; three weeks (21 nights / 22 days) is €2,625. The €875 weekly equivalent applies only when booking the three-week stay. Longer stays are available on request, and we confirm availability, your final quote and booking conditions personally.
